Frequently asked questions
Ordering, payment, delivery and returns — the questions we are asked most often.
Am I charged when I place the order?
No. Checkout records the order and reserves your size. We email you to confirm availability and the final total, and payment happens from that email. No card is charged on this website, and card details typed at checkout are validated in your browser and never stored or transmitted.
How do I know which size to order?
Measure your foot from heel to longest toe while standing, then compare that figure to the chart on the size guide. If you are between sizes or unsure, send us the measurement before ordering and we will tell you which to take.
Will these suit a wide foot?
The toe box is cut broader than a conventional trainer, which many people with wider feet prefer. Fit still varies from person to person, so check your measurement against the chart rather than relying on the size letter.
Can I use my own orthotic insole?
Yes. The supplied insole lifts out so an orthotic can go in its place. A thicker orthotic takes up volume and may make the shoe fit closer, so allow for that when choosing a size.
Is there a break-in period?
Not really. There is very little structure to break in — the upper is soft from the first wear and the sole is flexible out of the box. What does change is that the footbed compresses slightly over the first week or two.
How should I clean them?
Wipe the canvas or knit with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat. Machine washing and tumble drying will shorten the life of both uppers, and heat is what damages the adhesive at the sole.
Can I order two sizes and return one?
Yes, and it is a sensible way to buy if you are between sizes. Both pairs need to come back unworn and boxed if you return one. Tell us in the order notes so we can pack them together.
Are these suitable for a foot condition?
We cannot advise on that. This is an ordinary consumer shoe, not a medical device, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you are managing a foot or joint condition, speak to a qualified clinician about what footwear suits you.
What if my pair does not fit?
Contact us within 30 days and we will arrange an exchange or a refund. See shipping & returns for the conditions.
